LAS VEGAS — The Animal Foundation has reached capacity in their dog adoption areas and are offering deep discounts on Pit Bulls and Chihuahuas, the two breeds at greatest risk of being euthanized.
Through Aug. 10, adoption fees for Pit Bulls and Chihuahuas have been reduced to $40.
"We're doing everything we can to save as many lives as possible, but we need help immediately," said Andy Bischel, Director of Development for The Animal Foundation. "We need the community's help in finding good homes for these dogs as quickly as possible so that we don't have face the reality of euthanizing healthy, adoptable dogs due of a lack of space. By adopting this week, you'll truly be a hero you'll be saving a life."
More than 130 Pit Bulls and 50 Chihuahuas are looking for their forever home.
The adoption special is valid at their main campus location, 655 N. Mojave Rd., in Las Vegas, or at the PetSmart Charities Everyday Adoption Center, 286 W. Lake Mead Pkwy., in Henderson.
