Apple Store's 'Glass Cube' in NYC Shattered by Snow Blower

NEW YORK -- For anyone who has cracked their iPhone's glass screen, you know how much it hurts to see that happen. Except, what happened at the Fifth Avenue Apple Store in New York City is much, much worse. (Well, I guess that depends if you feel this is Karma or not.)

In this instance, blame "Old Man Winter."

According to reports, a snow blower managed to shatter the 32-foot tall glass enclosure while the Big Apple cleaned up from their latest round of winter weather.

This fix isn't a cheap one. 9to5Mac reported it will cost an estimated $450,000 to replace the glass.

For those wondering, the store said they will remain open during the "fix." It's unclear when Apple will make the replacement.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident.
