Arrests made in death of Good Samaritan

NORTH LAS VEGAS - Two people have been arrested in the death of Good Samaritan who tried the stop the robbery of a convenience store in September.

Members of the Las Vegas FBI Criminal Apprehension Team located Michael Maria Falus, 38 and Larry Allen Gray Jr., 43, in Reno. The two were taken into custody by the FBI and transported back to North Las Vegas.

Falus is facing charges of murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon and duty to stop at the scene of an accident. Gray is facing charges for murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon and robbery.

Falus is accused of stealing items out of an AM/PM on W. Lake Mead on Sept. 16 and then getting into a Jeep Grand Cherokee. As they were driving away, a concerned citizen attempted to intervene and was struck by the Jeep. He later died.
