Authorities Raid Home in SE Las Vegas

HENDERSON, Nev. -- Authorities removed what appear to be dozens of marijuana plants from a home Thursday on Anchor Drive near N. Racetrack  and Warm Springs roads.

Police, who were on the scene since 4 a.m. said 230 plants were removed with a street value of around $700,000.

Firefighters initially responded to a call of a fire at the residence and discovered the marijuana in the garage, Henderson Police said.

The owner of the home told 8 News NOW that he donates the marijuana to dispensaries in California.

Police have not made any arrests.
