Bicyclist killed in crash identified

LAS VEGAS -- The Coroner's Office has identified the bicyclist hit and killed by a car near the South Point Hotel and Casino Friday Night.

He's 41-year-old Cesar Augusto Flores.

The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. on Las Vegas Boulevard between Pyle and Cactus avenues. According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, a 36-year-old female driver of a Nissan Maxima struck the bicyclist. The 41-year-old male bicyclist died while being transported to the hospital. The driver did stay at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

NHP arrested the female driver for suspicion of DUI, drugs and alcohol.
