'Black Lives Still Don't Matter' protesters blocking traffic on the Strip

LAS VEGAS - Police have detained several people after protesters with the 'Black Lives Still Don't Matter' demonstration blocked traffic on the Las Vegas Strip.

The protesters locked arms across Las Vegas Boulevard and temporarily shut down down the road because they're not getting justice according to 8 News NOW reporter who is covering the event.

A fight also reportedly broke out during the event, but the circumstances of what happened are unclear at this time.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded and cleared the roadway.

The protest began in front of the Venetian where Tashii Brown-Farmer died while in police custody.
