Body Found in Gas Station Explosion Rubble Identified

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified a body found in the rubble of a gas station that exploded in North Las Vegas.

The coroner says 26-year-old Brandon Davis is the man found dead at the site. His cause of death is still pending.

North Las Vegas fire officials say the explosion happened on the morning of September 19 at the JCW Petroleum near Craig Road and Pecos Road. Investigators sifted through the debris and, on Monday morning, uncovered Davis' body in the rubble. Fire officials say the body would have been found sooner had it not been for the amount of debris left behind from the explosion.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
