LAS VEGAS - Henderson Police has confirmed that the body of missing Anthem woman, Iris Daniels, was found Monday morning.

The 69-year-old's body, which was in some bushes, was found in a side yard of a residence near the 2200 block of Turner Falls Street. The homeowner, who had been out of town, immediately called 911 when they returned and found the body, police said.

The Clark County Coroner's Office confirmed that it was Daniels' body on Monday night. However, the cause of death is still being investigated.

Henderson Police first started searching for Daniels on April 20, after her husband told them she had walked away from the residence near Anthem Parkway and Atchley Drive.

Daniels apparently suffered from complications due to a recent stroke, Henderson Police said. Red Rock Search and Rescue and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Air Unit also assisted in the search for Daniels.
