CCFD searched for missing people in wash; no one found

LAS VEGAS - The Clark County Fire Department says firefighters are searching for people in the wash near Desert Inn Road and Eastern Avenue.

The search started after CCFD received reports of people screaming. Rescue teams of about 20 people searched for more than hour for the alleged victims, but no one was found.

Clark County Fire says crews will return Saturday to search the surface area of the wash to see if there is any sign of a body.

Before leaving for the day firefighters from Fire Station 18 went around and warned homeless people about incoming dangers prior to the washes flooded.
