CCSD bus driver arrested for inappropriate relationship with student

LAS VEGAS - A bus driver within the Clark County School District was arrested Monday for having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

According to Clark County School District Police, 24-year-old Dominique Joiner was booked on two counts of sexual misconduct, two counts of kidnapping and one count of use of a minor for child pornography.

CCSDPD said it received a tip about the relationship from a parent.   When CCSD Police started investigating, officers discovered that Joiner had a relationship with a student who attends Northwest Career and Technical Academy.

Joiner was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.  He has also been removed from his duties and suspended without pay.

Joiner was hired by CCSD in October 2015, as a bus driver.  He is the 13 CCSD employee arrested for inappropriate interactions with a student this year.
