The countdown is on for the Clark County School District. With less than a week remaining until the first day of school, the school district has 300 teacher vacancies.
That number is an improvement from last year. The district had about 1,000 spots that needed to be filled in 2015.
However, it’s still not where CCSD wishes to be. For now, many of the classrooms will be occupied by substitute teachers.
