CCSD is Offering a Summer Feeding Program for Students

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County School District will offer a summer food program at 130 schools to make sure kids are getting the nutrition they need while on summer break.

The program is open to children between the ages of 2 to 18 and there is no charge. The program includes breakfast and lunch meals.

As the local economy has declined, more children have qualified for the federal Free & Reduced Lunch program. Currently 55 percent of the children in the Clark County School District qualify for the program and the number is expected to continue to increase.
