Child pulled from pool in southwest neighborhood

A child was pulled from a pool in a southwest Las Vegas neighborhood Wednesday morning and rushed to the hospital.

According to Metro Police, the incident was reported around 11:34 a.m. and occurred at a home in the 3400 block of Avila Street near Rainbow Boulevard and Twain Avenue.

Persons from the home transported the child to Spring Valley Hospital. The child was reportedly breathing, police said.
