Construction Worker Seriously Injured at Job Site

HENDERSON, Nev. -- A injured construction worker was airlifted to the University Medical Center Thursday morning after falling 15 feet into a manhole for a storm drain.

The injury happened around 7 a.m. at a residential construction job site near Horizon Ridge Parkway and Gibson Road. The Henderson Fire Department's Technical Rescue Team responded and rescued the man. 

The extent of the man's injuries are unknown at this time.
