Coroner IDs 2 Dead in Christmas Mobile Home Fire

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities have identified two people found dead Christmas morning in a burned mobile home in southeast Las Vegas.

Clark County coroner's officials say 25-year-old Angelo Alfred Romero and 24-year-old Charito Nicole Whittier were found in a master bedroom at the Miracle Mile Mobile Home Park. That's off Boulder Highway between Sahara Avenue and U.S. Highway 95.

Clark County Fire Battalion Chief Eric Poleski says firefighters couldn't immediately get inside the blazing mobile home when they arrived a little after 7 a.m. Tuesday.

It took crews about 15 minutes to douse flames.

The cause of the fire hasn't yet been released
