Coroner ID's Driver Killed in Crash with Bus

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the driver killed when his car slammed into the back of a transit bus as 21-year-old Zachary Mitchell Greener.

Seven people on the bus were hospitalized with what police characterized as minor injuries. The bus driver was not hurt.

According to Metro Police, Greener was driving the 2007 Dodge Caliber that slammed into a bus, which was stopped at a bus stop on Flamingo Road near Boulder Highway around 9 p.m. Saturday.

Witnesses told police the Dodge appeared to be speeding before the crash.

This was the 50th traffic related fatality in Metro's jurisdiction this year.
