Coroner IDs man killed in 2-car crash

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the 76-year-old man killed in a two-car crash along Boulder Highway Wednesday morning as Theodore Riccubuono of Henderson.

According to police, the crash happened at around 11:15 a.m. at Boulder Highway and Russell Road. Police say a Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading north on the highway when a Saturn SL2, driving by Riccubuono, pulled out of a parking lot of a convenience store into the path of the truck.

Riccubuono was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup truck stayed on scene and was not hurt.

The northbound lanes of Boulder Highway were closed for the investigation.
