Coroner IDs Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed in a crash Thursday as 43-year-old Mark Walwyn of North Las Vegas.

The coroner ruled his death was caused by multiple blunt force injuries and the manner was accidental.

Walwyn died after a car ran into the motorcycle he was riding near Craig Road and Rainbow Boulevard. The crash happened around 1:50 p.m.

Officers also said that speed was mostly likely a factor in the crash. Another motorcycle was involved, but left the scene.

The woman who was driving the car was taken to University Medical Center's Trauma unit with moderate injuries.

This is the 111th fatal crash in Metro's jurisdiction with the cause of the crash remaining under investigation.
