Coroner IDs Man Killed Running Across U.S. 95

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man hit while running across U.S. 95 this weekend.

Leandrew Corey Wells, 22 of Las Vegas was hit by at least one car on U.S. 95 near Lake Mead Boulevard. His cause of death is pending.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, Wells ran across the highway and was hit just before noon Sunday.

A witness said he thought the man may have been suicidal because he ran directly toward traffic that was traveling about 60 mph.
