Coroner ID's man shot at Desert Inn and Maryland Pkwy.

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man shot to death on a street near Desert Inn Road and Maryland Parkway as 32-year-old Tyshon Ranique Clarence Bowman of Las Vegas.

Bowman died from gunshot wounds to the head and chest, the coroner said.

The shooting happened around 3:05 p.m. on May 21. When police arrived at the scene of the shooting, they found the victim with gunshot wound to his head. Police say the Bowman was involved in a verbal altercation in the courtyard of an apartment complex and was chased into the street where he was shot and died.

Police have not released any suspect information. They are interviewing neighbors for additional details. Police do not believe the shooting was gang-related.
