Coroner IDs woman hit, killed by SUV

LAS VEGAS - The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the woman killed after being hit by an SUV Monday night as 49-year-old Courtney Lapoint Walker. Her cause of death is multiple blunt force trauma and manner was ruled accidental.

The accident happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Durango Drive at Paddle Wheel Way, which is near Durango Drive and Desert Inn Road.

Police say Walker was crossing Durango outside a marked crosswalk, when a Ford Expedition hit her in the southbound lane.

Walker died at the scene of the accident. So far, police have not arrested the driver of the Expedition.
