CORRECTION: Death toll in Vegas Strip shooting remains at 59

LAS VEGAS - Metro Police confirmed the death toll stands at 59, that includes 58 victims and the gunman, Stephen Paddock.  We incorrectly reported earlier that there were 60 deaths related to the mass shooting based on information from the City of Las Vegas spokesman.

Stephen Paddock, a 64-year-old retired accountant who lived in Mesquite, fired guns from his 32nd-floor hotel window into a crowd of 22,000 concertgoers.  The patrons of the concert were attending the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival right outside Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino.

He continued firing with an arsenal of weapons for nine to 11 minutes.  Over 500 others were injured.

At this time, there is no clear motive for the crime.
