The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is in town and it’s a big draw for cowboys and cowgirls.

When they’re not the Thomas and Mack checking out the rodeo action, many are heading to the Las Vegas Convention Center for Cowboy Christmas.

Tracey Borchardt and her husband came all the way from Texas for the rodeo and shopping.

"Oh, it's so much excitement and fun here in Las Vegas at this time of year. We're fortunate to be able to go to the rodeo and hang out at Cowboy Christmas," said Tracey Borchardt.

Cowboy Christmas has become a tradition for many people.

"There's so much stuff to look at and if nothing else you can get ideas, but it's all about the spending and the enjoyment of Christmas time," Tracey Borchardt.

Tracey and her husband Berry say it's not always easy sticking to the holiday list.

"The sad thing is you come with the intent of shopping for other people, but all the shopping is done for you individually. You're looking at all the stuff you want to get. A new pair of boots, new hat, new knife," said Berry Borchardt.

About 400 exhibitors are packing the Las Vegas Convention Center, so there is something for everyone.

Over the past 30 years, Cowboy Christmas has attracted more than 3.6 million people.

The Borchardts are already planning their next trip to Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo and Cowboy Christmas shopping.

"As soon as we go home we're already thinking about next year and the things we want to come and do," said Berry Borchardt.

Cowboy Christmas will be open for one more week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
