Dallas Cowboys bus involved in fatal crash

Four people were killed in a crash in northwestern Arizona Sunday afternoon when a Dallas Cowboys bus headed for Las Vegas collided with a van.

The crash happened on U.S. 93 about 30 miles north of Kingman, Arizona.

Dallas Cowboys sports writer Mickey Spagnola confirmed that the tour bus had been involved in a fatal accident.

Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Quentin Mehr says three females and one male in the van died, but he didn't release their identities.The occupants in the bus were not injured. There were no players on the bus.

The bus was traveling northbound on U.S. 93 when the van made a left turn at a highway intersection in front of the bus, Arizona troopers said.

The bus was on its way from Irving, Texas to GameWorks in Town Square Las Vegas for a fan event. The bus would then proceed to Oxnard, California for the start of NFL training camp in two weeks.
