Downtown Loop shuttle launches today

LAS VEGAS - Just in time for summer, a new, free shuttle service will launch Tuesday to help visitors get around downtown Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas city council approved the program last month.  The Downtown Loop Shuttle is scheduled to stop at places such as the Arts District, the Mob Museum, Fremont Street, and the Premium Outlets.

The shuttle runs seven days per week:

Monday-Thursday: 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday-Saturday: 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Downtown Loop is just a six-month pilot program for now, but could become a permanent fixture if it remains popular through the summer.
