Joan reached out to Traffic8 after a dangerous experience on Flamingo Road near the Lindell Road intersection.   While attempting to dodge several traffic cones, she says another vehicle sideswiped her.  She says there should have been more warning signs.

In Joan's case, it's not clear if the cones were put up during an emergency or for construction that's happening at the Flamingo Road and Lindell Road intersection.

The RTC is building bus stops on Flamingo Road between Rainbow Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard. Cones will be up, restricting lanes for the next couple of weeks, as part of the Flamingo Corridor Improvement Project
The RTC says there are six, large project signs along Flamingo Road, as well as four large "Seeing Orange" signs where crews are working.   Each side street along Flamingo Road, including Lindell Road, has two signs indicating there's construction ahead.
