Driving You Crazy: Faded Lines at Green Valley and 215

HENDERSON, Nev. - Drivers say lane markings on the Green Valley Parkway overpass at 215 are extremely faded and may cause collisions.

That lack of lane dots and markers make identifying lanes almost impossible. Drivers say many cars cross lanes at this intersection into oncoming traffic.

The City of Henderson is aware of this issue, and they are working on it. City officials awarded a contract to Highway Striping and Signs to re-stripe most markings, raised pavement markers, stop bars, crosswalks and arrows at this intersection, as well as at the Pecos Road/215 and Valle Verde Drive/215 overpasses.

Crews will begin work in early 2014. It should be finished by February.
