Driving You Crazy: Gravel at Bus Stop Near Sunset and Eastern

LAS VEGAS - A viewer says the bus stop on the corner of Sunset Road and Eastern Avenue sits on gravel instead of a paved sidewalk.

The viewer uses a motorized chair to get around, and he says his chair gets stuck in the loose rocks.

This bus stop sits on property owned by the Clark County Department of Aviation.

The good news is Clark County crews worked with McCarran Airport and received the right to build a bus turnout at this location in combination with another traffic signal project on Sunset Road.

Construction on the turnout is expected to be complete by fall 2014. That turnout should solve the loose rock problem.
