LAS VEGAS - A viewer says a pedestrian crosswalk sign is missing at the intersection of N. 8th Street and Stewart Avenue.
She says several residents in the neighborhood rely on this crosswalk's safety.
The City of Las Vegas found a construction project is underway to install handicap ramps at this intersection.
The contractor needed to temporarily remove those pedestrian crossing signs to install the ramps. There was no way to keep the mounting post installed and complete the work.
Crews are pouring the ramps Friday, and the contractor says the pedestrian signage will be reinstalled early next week.
