Driving You Crazy: Rough Patches on Durango Drive

LAS VEGAS - Durango Drive between Tropicana Avenue and Spring Mountain Road contains numerous rough patches. Viewers want to know if crews plan to repave it.

One said the road is "literally buckling under my tires."

The street is packed with potholes, and new ones keep popping up. Both directions of Durango need work, but the northbound side is particularly bad.

The good news is Durango Drive will be repaved, reconstructed and improved between Flamingo Road and Spring Mountain Road.

Clark County officials say plans are nearly finished, and they anticipate advertising for construction bids by June. That should have the road reconstruction complete by the end of the year.
