Driving You Crazy: Turn Lane at Coronado Center and St. Rose

HENDERSON, Nev. - A single turn lane at Coronado Center Drive and St. Rose Parkway is driving some motorists crazy. The lack of a second turn lane backs up traffic, and some drivers say a second turn lane is needed.

Currently, drivers can only use one lane to turn right from northbound Coronado Center to northbound St. Rose Parkway. This causes many drivers to improvise and create a second turn lane where none exists.

The good news for drivers is help may be on the way. Henderson planners are collecting data this week to determine if a right turn overlap is needed.

This is an additional green arrow that would move vehicles from Coronado Center on to St. Rose. The green arrow would display and stay displayed for left turners at this intersection. This will increase the capacity of that right turn movement and make it easier for drivers.
