Drowning reported at Lake Mohave

LAS VEGAS - A 38-year-old man drowned at Lake Mohave Monday morning, according to the National Park Service.

The Bull Head City Fire Department and the National Park Service responded to a call just before 10 a.m. from a bystander who reported that someone swimming near Cabinsite Cove had yelled from help before going under water.

A person diving nearby was able to locate the victim and pull him from the water around 10:25 a.m.

The victim was not wearing a life jacket.

The victim's cause of death and identity will be released by the coroner.
