Enterprise, Nevada makes top 50 list of America's best cities

LAS VEGAS - Another day another list, and this time a city in Nevada is making the top 50 list of best cities to live.

According to USA Today, 24/7 Wall St. created an index of over three dozen socioeconomic measures to identify the 50 best American cities to live in. The most livable cities span the entire country.

Here's the work up on Enterprise, Nevada which came in at number 32.

  • Population: 139,509
  • Median home value: $269,000
  • Poverty rate: 7.8 percent (bottom 10 percent)
  • Pct. with at least a bachelor’s degree: 29.2 percent

With an 80 percent population growth in the last 10 years, Enterprise, Nevada is the second fastest growing city in the United States by population. For those who may not know, Enterprise is in the southwest area of Las Vegas.

According to the study, poverty is relatively low in Enterprise. The city’s 7.8 percent poverty rate is the lowest of all major cities in Nevada and well below the 14.0 percent U.S. rate.
