Family offers $10K reward in case of missing woman

LAS VEGAS --  The family of a missing woman, feared dead, is now offering a $10,000 reward. Irma Mkrtchyan hasn't been seen since Jan. 19, 2014.

Last month, her family told 8 News NOW, she sent a text message saying she was going on a work trip, but never showed. She also never packed for a trip. Now, her brother is questioning whether that message was even sent by his sister.

"How can it possibly be a 45-year-old woman goes to California without any clothes? There's no way." I don't believe she disappeared by her will, something bad happened, I'm sure of that," said Davit Mkrtchyan.

He is in Las Vegas hoping to find more information on his missing sister. Mkrtchyan says Irma's ex-husband failed a lie detector test and that his sister was in an abusive relationship, but Irma's son says his father believes the test was done incorrectly.

Metro has confirmed it is investigating the case as a possible homicide, but has not released any information on a suspect.
