LAS VEGAS - More information was released Friday about the woman killed at her place of employment this week. The victim has been identified as 55-year-old Celia Luna.
Metro Police said she was gunned down Thursday at Express Cash Checking on Jones Boulevard near Vegas Drive. The business remained closed on Friday, but flowers and a candle were laid out at the store for the victim.
The family of Celia Luna says she was a wonderful human being who was a good mom and an amazing grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.
And while her family plans her funeral, Metro Police officers continue their search for the suspects.
Metro says two men were seen running from the back of the store after the shooting. Detectives believe one of the men tried to rob her.
Luna died at University Medical Center. Anyone with any information should contact Crimestoppers at 702-385-5555
