Fashion model to turn Hoover Dam into runway

LAS VEGAS - A supermodel is gearing up for the first ever fashion show on top of the Hoover Dam.

Jessica Minh Anh is known for extraordinary stunt shows, and photo shoots across the globe

On Monday morning, the Hoover Dam will go from a landmark to a runway in a unique transformation.

It's the brainchild of supermodel Minh Anh who has famously produced other shows at places like the Eiffel Tower and the Grand Canyon Skywalk.

The Grand Canyon production actually has the world record for the highest fashion show.

Now, Minh Anh is looking to take the Hoover Dam to the next level, making it the official venue of J Summer Fashion Show 2017.

Along with couture designers, high-end jewelry and fashion-forward hair and make-up, the event will be using state of the art technology to film and broadcast the show from multiple angles.

As for how she decided on the Hoover Dam as the location for this show, Minh Anh says she's drawn to mega structures.

“It is a very special day just mainly because we just treasure this monument very much. This engineering marvel of America which is Hoover Dam is so special with the backdrop of the Black Canyon, and the world's biggest manmade reservoir which is Lake Mead is just going to look phenomenal with the drone flying on top with the steady cam going all around. I use my photography and videography teams that have been doing all my shows, so I am very confident about the result we are going to get," Minh Anh said.

The show is on Monday on at 8:00 a.m. at the Hoover Dam.

This is actually the second time that Minh Anh has combined renewable energy and fashion after the solar powered catwalk she did in Spain.
