Man arrested for deadly stabbing near Walnut and Craig

LAS VEGAS - The man suspected of stabbing another man to death was arrested by Metro Police. Thomas Cash was arrested on one count of murder with a deadly weapon.

Detectives investigated the deadly stabbing Monday night. Police said it all started with a small fight in the 4000 block of Pistachio Nut Avenue near W. Walnut and E. Craig roads.

Police said a 21-year-old man got into an argument with his girlfriend outside a home, and at some point during the argument, 52-year-old Cash came out of the home and stabbed the 21-year-old.

The victim was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived at the scene. 

As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested Cash and booked him in the Clark County Detention Center.
