Fire Dept: Seven people burned in bonfire

LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Fire Department is investigating an incident where several teenagers and young adults suffered burns from a bonfire.

According to the Clark County spokesman, the fire started overnight in a desert area about five miles south of Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson.

At one point, flammable liquid was added to the fire and at least seven people were burned. All the victims were taken to local hospitals in private vehicles.

The fire department and ambulances were not called to the scene.
