Firefighters knock down two-alarm blaze at vacant buildings

LAS VEGAS - Firefighters have put out a two-alarm fire at two vacant, boarded up buildings.

The fire started around 10:00 a.m.at 901 W. McWilliams Ave. which is near Washington Avenue and H Street. 

Firefighters found a squatter inside one of the buildings. The squatter was uninjured and was able to walk away from the scene, according to Las Vegas Fire and Rescue. 

Fire crews are looking for hotspots. The cause is under investigation.
