Flood waters fill valley streets, cause traffic troubles

LAS VEGAS -- The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has let a flash flood warning for most of  Clark County expire.

Heavy rain from earlier storms has moved out of the area therefore the flash flood warning has been allowed to expire. However, there are still many streets around Las Vegas that still have standing water which will likely continue through 6 p.m. Drivers should still use caution while driving around town.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, troopers have responded to 143 weather-related accidents over the past 24 hours, beginning with Sunday's storms.
