LAS VEGAS -- A former top Clark County lawyer, who had prosecuted high-profile drug cases, including those of Paris Hilton and Bruno Mars, was temporarily suspended from practicing law in Nevada.
The seven Nevada Supreme Court justices ruled unanimously to suspend David Schubert's law license, according to a court filing Wednesday.
Schubert resigned from the Clark County District Attorney's Office last year after being arrested in March 2011 with a $40 rock of cocaine and an unregistered handgun in his car. He pleaded guilty later that year.
The Nevada State Bar petitioned the court for his suspension.
