Former State Senator Sue Lowden Considers Run for Office

LAS VEGAS -- Sue Lowden, a former state senator and the former chairwoman of the Nevada Republican Party, is considering a run for lieutenant governor in 2014.

"I am seriously thinking about it. I will make a decision by early fall," Lowden told 8 News NOW.

Lowden was a state senator from 1992 to 1996. Lowden lost her bid as the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in 2010. She was defeated by Tea Party favorite Sharron Angle.
