Four displaced by fire in Henderson

Henderson-- The Henderson Fire Department is looking into what caused a fire at an apartment that displaced four people.

It happened just before 7 a.m. Saturday near Marks Street and Galleria Drive. When fire crews arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke coming from the garage of a three-story multi-family home.

One sprinkler inside the garage was activated and kept the blaze from spreading. One man and one firefighter suffered minor burns to their hands and were treated and released at the scene.

The American Red Cross is assisting the adults displaced because of the fire. The cause remains under investigation.

The loss is estimated at $75,000.
