Four People Hurt in Fire

LAS VEGAS -- Four people were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon because of injuries they suffered in the fire.

A spokesman with Las Vegas Fire and Rescue says two of the victims are children. All the injuries were minor. One dog did die in the fire. The blaze started in a residence at 2921 Elm Avenue, which is near Mojave and Bonanza Roads.

There is no word on what caused the blaze.
