Golden Knights to help find homes for rescued Pomeranians
LAS VEGAS - The Animal Foundation and the Golden Knights are teaming up to help find dozens of rescued Pomeranians furever homes.
The public is invited to the Knights practice at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, where they will hold the Pucks for Paws event at City National Arena.
VGK players will help in a live auction of five of the pups following the practice.
For adults over 18 years old, there will also be a free chance to adopt one of 10 additional dogs which will be at the event.
An online promotion to facilitate adoptions of the remaining majority of the dogs will launch at the same event, with members of the public invited to purchase tickets through 11:59 pm on January 1, 2018.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers and Clark County officials rescued the 164 dogs from a U-Haul truck in Sandy Valley back in November.
