Golden Knights win battle of power plays, defeat Lightning 4-3

LAS VEGAS - The National Hockey League’s best team, the Tampa Bay Lightning felt the wrath of what it’s like to play the Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena.

It was a special teams display with the man advantage for both teams with a combined six power play goals. However, Shea Theodore delivered the final blow with 2.3 seconds left in regulation to give the Golden Knights a 4-3 win and move into a first-place tie in the Pacific Division with the Los Angeles Kings.

The Golden Knights next game will be Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena against Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals.
