The Clark County grand jury indicted four people in a home invasion that left one man dead.

Monty Gibson, 48, was killed Sept. 21 during a home invasion on Broadmere Street, near Hualapai Way and Homestretch Drive.

It's believed his roommate, Joey Larsen, was the target of the invasion because his estranged wife was among those arrested in the case.

Summer Larsen, David Murphy, Joseph Laguna and Jorge Mendoza were indicted Friday on murder, attempted murder, robbery and burglary charges.

According to police, the invasion was motivated by Summer Larsen and her new boyfriend David Murphy who recruited friends to help with the home invasion.

When the suspects entered the home, Joey Larsen fired at the suspects, hitting two of them. A gunfight erupted between Larsen and the suspects that ended with Gibson being killed.
