Halloween Happenings Around Town

LAS VEGAS - There are numerous Halloween events and haunted houses around the Las Vegas valley this year.

  • Fright Dome at Circus Circus - for those seeking Halloween thrills, the Adventuredome will become Frightdome. There are six NEW haunted houses, four all new scare zones, live shows and much more. The fun begins Oct. 1 and runs through Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. to midnight. Tickets start at $37.95 on select nights.   • Haunted Harvest at Springs Preserve - Midway of Madness Carnival Games, trick-or-treat stations, Wanda the Witch's House Hay Maze, a petting zoo, the Bootanical garden, pumpkin carving and Ghostbuster training. Oct. 20 - 22, 27 - 29, from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $8 per person.   • Lake Las Vegas - Offers events prior to Halloween night including a Haunted Pirate ship experience. Appropriate for children up to the age of 12, who must be accompanied by a legal guardian 21+. Tickets are $25 per person. For more information,green valley ranch click here.
     
  • Town Scary - Town Scary is at Town Square on Tuesday, Oct. 31 and offers trick-or-treating, contests and more from 4 - 7 p.m. Town Square is located at 6605 Las Vegas Blvd. Children of all ages are invited.
  • North Las Vegas Police -  Free17th Annual Safe Halloween at the Home Depot parking lot, 1275 W. Craig Road from 5 - 7 p.m. on Wed, Oct. 25. Live entertainment, vendor booths and free trick-or-treating for children 12 and under.
  • HallOVeen at Opportunity Village - Every weekend in October, Opportunity Village will transform the Magical Forest into HallOVeen. All ages are welcome. There are games, an enchanted carousel, an avalanche slide, a ghost train ride, tons of tasty treats and other Halloween fun. Open Oct. 20 - 31 from 5:30 - 9 p.m. Tickets start at $19.   • Trick or Treat at The District at Green Valley Ranch - There will be spooky decor and more for the Halloween Ghost Walk. Families are invited to stroll through the shops and collect candy on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. 
     
  • Trilogy of Terror - The Freakling Bros. are hosting three haunted house experiences: The Gates of Hell (R-rated), The Coven of 13 and Castle Vampire are located at 4245 S. Grand Canyon Drive. Admission to each starts at $15 or for a pass to all three, pay $39. Click here for more information.
     
  • Downtown Summerlin - The family can enjoy Treat Street. There will be trick-or-treating, a spooky block party with Metro, a dog costume contest and the "Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" movie screening.   • Metro Police hold Trunk or Treats around the Las Vegas valley. Metro Police are holding several safe and sane Halloween events. There will be plenty of candy and entertainment. Click here for a list of locations, dates and times. Most events are prior to Halloween.
     
  • The Asylum and Hotel Fear -  Promises to take victims on the most frightening adventure of the season. It's located at the Meadows Mall, 4300 Meadows Lane, Las Vegas. Open Oct. 19 - 22, 26 - 31, 2017. The price is $15 - $35. Click here for more information.
  • LINQ Zombie Escape - The LINQ Promenade and High Roller are throwing a Halloween extravaganza. The LINQ Promenade will be decorated and offer family-friendly music along with face-painters and a zombie LED drumline at the top of each hour. Tickets start at $20. Zombie escape is open Wed. - Sun. during Oct. with a special celebration Halloween night.
  • Halloweenville - Wet 'n' Wild has wave in the witches fun! It's the first-ever Halloweenville at the park. There will be jack-o-lanterns, food, mini-monster train rides, a laser swamp, zombie paintball, dance parties, a rock wall, trick-or-treating, prumpkin patch and more. Fri., Oct. 20 - Tues. Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. (9 p.m. Sun. - Thurs.) 
  • Safe Zone at Glowzone indoor glow in the dark challenge center - Trick or treat in a safe place with the whole family. Free balloon art, arts and crafts and much more! Costumes are encouraged. From 3 - 6 p.m. 1 hour unlimited will be $10 per person. Click for more information.
  • Escape Reality - Guests have 60 minutes to escape rooms using spooky clues and creepy props (plus frightening surprises with live actors). $25 with code Halloween25. Plyus, $1 of every room benefits a local charity. You can book a haunted adventure here.
