Hardy wins GOP nomination for Congressional District 4

LAS VEGAS -- State Assemblyman Cresent Hardy has secured the GOP nomination for U.S. House, District 4.

He defeated tea party organizer Niger Innis in a close race. Hardy will face off with the incumbent Democratic Rep. Steven Horsford.

Hardy is a two-term state assemblyman from Mesquite and a fifth-generation Nevadan.
