Here's how to help the mass shooting victims

LAS VEGAS - There is an outpouring of support from the Las Vegas community to help the victims of the mass shooting Sunday night at a country music festival concert on the Las Vegas Strip.

HOW TO HELP: Donate money

Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak and Sheriff Joe Lombardo created a GoFundMe page to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the mass shooting. So far, more than $4 million has been raised.

Also online retailer Zappos is matching donations of up to $1 million to help support victims and their families.

"Las Vegas is our home. We are deeply saddened by the events that happened on Sunday night, and we are working to ensure our employees and community are supported during this difficult time."

HOW TO HELP: Donate food

Catholic Charities of Las Vegas and Three Square are accepting donations.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas says it's working with the Red Cross to provide sack lunches for family and friends of victims waiting at Sunrise Hospital. 

They're asking for donations of non-perishable single-serving food items such as soup, bags of pretzels and chips.

They're also asking for items to put into the lunches such as bread, turkey lunch meat, cheese slices, fresh fruit or fruit cups, chips, and single-serve fruit juices.

Donations can be dropped off at  2323 Potosi St. Las Vegas, NV 89146.

The City of Henderson says donations of food and water can be made to the Red Cross location at 1771 E Flamingo Rd, Ste 206B.

HOW TO HELP: Donate blood

If you're interested in helping, one of the best ways to do that is to donate blood. United Services did meet its blood needs thanks to all the Nevadans who showed up to donate Monday. More than 200 units of blood were needed for transfusions. Any person who would still like to donate can call and schedule an appointment for later in the week. Just call - 1-877-827-4376.
